A Conversation with Kevin Cherry, Business Development Manager

Kevin CherryHarrison Steel may be more than 100 years old, but the company is on the move and growing. Kevin Cherry, Business Development Manager, shares his take on the global economy, growth markets and the future of casting.

Q. The global economy has been challenged recently? How do things look moving forward?

A. I'm the eternal optimist. The global economy means more opportunity; however, the opportunities may look a little bit different than in the past. At Harrison Steel, we've taken the economic slowdown as a time to focus on what we do best—engineered castings—and begun identifying new markets that can benefit from our expertise. At the same time, we've focused on our processes so that when we say we have a zero defects culture, that's what we're delivering to customers.
